LEGACY

"LEGS" presents a projection of bare legs emerging from the wall, creating an intriguing and delicate presence. These legs, suspended between the wall and the public space, seem to be waiting for something, like a silent call for interaction or a response.
This work explores the place of women in public space, while questioning the relationship between the viewer and the work. By extending from the wall, the legs force the viewer to step back, to distance themselves, and to reflect on the space they occupy. They become a symbol of the tension between presence and withdrawal, visibility and invisibility.

The posture of the legs, suspended in expectation, pushes us to question the expectations imposed by society and the way we position ourselves in relation to these expectations. "LEGS" thus becomes a reflection on the invisible boundaries we encounter, a dialogue on the need for recognition and space, and a call for introspection about our own space and place in the world.
